When spraying, a smooth dry paint film surface cannot be formed, but the unevenness of the orange peel is about 3 microns.
Reason:
(1) The viscosity of the coating is high and the leveling is poor.
(2) The compressed air pressure is low, the amount of paint is too large and the spraying equipment is not good, resulting in poor atomization.
(3) The temperature of the object to be coated and the air is too high, the wind speed in the spraying room is too large, and the solvent volatilizes too quickly.
(4) The drying time is short and the spray thickness is insufficient.
(5) The spraying distance is inappropriate, such as too far.
Prevention:
(1) Select a suitable solvent and add a leveling agent or a high-boiling organic solvent with a slow volatilization to improve the leveling of the coating.
(2) Select the appropriate compressed air pressure, and select the spraying tool with good paint output and atomization performance, so that the paint can achieve good atomization.
(3) Once sprayed to the specified thickness (it should be controlled to the limit without sagging), the drying time should be extended appropriately, and it is not advisable to enter the high temperature furnace for drying too early.
(4) The temperature of the object to be coated should be cooled to below 50℃, and the temperature in the painting room should be maintained at about 20℃.
(5) Adjust the spraying distance.
